A downloadable game for Windows

Presentation

Hero Odyssey is Metroidvania inspired by great titles of the same genre like Hollow Knight & Ori, with a frantic and fast paced gameplay focused on combat.

Explore the Realm of Darkness, fight against different creatures and monsters, gain new abilities and learn new sword techniques.

The game is still in development, a lot of work has been done, and there is still a lot to be done, but that does not stop me from sharing the game with everyone after more than 2 years of work.

Please, if you can leave a comment about the game experience, positive or negative, it would help me. Thanks in advance.

Content

The demo contains a part of the very first zone to explore “The Green Forest”, with different creatures to fight against and a Mini-Boss. This will guarantee you at least 1 hour of gameplay. Hope you will enjoy the adventure!

Future Updates

There will be great changes in the game, especially concerning the environmental art, I 'm already in contact with some great Freelancers to make the best version of the game as fast as possible, but before I begin this step, it would be very helpful to have some first reviews from you, players.

Controller mapping needs work and the sword hitbox is a bit off. areas are way too open and don't have much in them aside from hazards and enemies. but other that that it's pretty good

Thanks for the review, I will work on those points as soon as possible, the areas are empty for the moment because I didn't put any effort on the environmental art, this is something I m gonna work on really soon too, I m quite sure that it will change the whole exploration experience in a very opened world.

I really thank you for the very detailled review that you left,  even if you gave me a lot of work and books to read now :p

But that's the kind of reviews I m looking for, the game won't stop improving till it's near to perfection (y)
